For every successful actor or actress, there are countless numbers who don't make it. The name of the
game is rejection. You go to an audition and you're told you're too tall or you're too Irish
or your nose is not quite right. You're rejected for your education, you're rejected
for this or that and it's really tough. ---Liam Neeson

Amazing evening. I'm always transported to some utopian spiritual place when I attend Purchase Dance
Conservatory performances. The generous, enthusiastic audiences are an important part of
the experience. Not at all jaded like in NYC. And so many youthful
attractive / stylish people attend. It's Heaven, plain and simple.

You write a book and you finish the book. That's your job done, right? You win the Booker and you have
a whole new job. You have to be the thing, right? So instead of writing the story, you somehow
are the story. And that I found that sort of terrible. ---Anne Enright
